Assessment

The course is assessed by two examinations, each 1 hour 30 minutes and worth 60 marks. Paper 1 cover topics on personal finance, analysis of data and estimation techniques. We study Option A in Paper 2 which covers statistical techniques and involves the critical analysis of given data and models including spreadsheets and tabular data. Both exams allow the use of a calculator. Preliminary material is released in March. The qualification is graded from A – E.
