We are delighted to invite you to our T Levels Open Event on Thursday, 5th December, starting at 5:00 PM.

This event offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the innovative qualifications we are introducing from September 2025 and discover how, together, we can shape your child’s future.

What Are T Levels?

T Levels are cutting-edge, two-year qualifications for young people aged 16–19. Developed in collaboration with employers, T Levels combine academic learning with real-world experience, equipping students with the skills they need to excel in the workplace, further education, or apprenticeships.

Equivalent to three A Levels, T Levels include:

• Classroom Learning: In-depth knowledge and skills in their chosen field.
• Industry Placement: At least 45 days of hands-on experience with an employer.

These pathways blend academic rigour with practical expertise, opening doors to skilled employment, higher education, or apprenticeship opportunities.

Our T Level Offerings

We are proud to offer two exciting T Levels:

1. Creative Design: Media, Broadcast & Production
   • Explore careers in the creative industries with a focus on:
     • The creative economy, cultural context, and audience needs.
     • Legal, regulatory, and diversity requirements.
     • Professional standards, research skills, and project management.
2. Business Administration
   • Gain essential knowledge and skills for thriving in the business world, including:
     • Organisational cultures, governance, and societal impact.
     • Project and change management theories and practices.
     • Effective communication, quality assurance, and compliance.

Attending one of our Open Day Events is a great way for you and your family to learn more about our College and the courses we have available for you. 

At our Open Days, you will have the opportunity to:

• Explore our College facilities
• Meet our current students
• Speak to our teachers and staff

Our Open Mornings start at 9am and finish at 10.30am. Tours begin promptly at 9.15am and any visitor/s that do not arrive on time for the tour start at 9.15am, cannot be guaranteed a tour allocation. Our Principal's Welcome follows on from the tour, and ends at 10.30am.

All applicants to Thorpe House Sixth Form are cordially invited to an evening where they can meet their fellow-Sixth Formers for September, the teachers, and the Senior Leadership of the school. Light refreshments will be served.

The event will be at the Oval Way site, due to ongoing refurbishment of the new Sixth form Centre at Westminster House, on Packhorse Road, ready for GCSE results day on 22nd August.
