First day of term for enrolled Year 12 students

We are hosting online parent information sessions about our Level 3 course to generate more knowledge and confidence around the screen industries and LSA

There will be an opportunity to ask our admissions team any questions you might have.

The sessions will last an hour, and there are 3 time slots to choose from. 

We will distribute a recording of the presentation and information packs out after the session.

The aim of the evening is to equip students and parents with the knowledge needed to be able to make an informed decision when selecting a sixth form or college. The evening will include information on:

·         Our 3 levels of study

·         Our comprehensive range of traditional A Levels

·         Our vocational qualifications

·         Our experienced pastoral support

·         Our careers advice and guidance programme

·         Our UCAS progression co-ordinator

·         The wealth of enrichment opportunities available to our students

A presentation from the Head of Sixth Form will be delivered at 5:30pm and will be repeated at 6.15pm, outlining aspects of Sixth Form life and key expectations.

Our Induction day on Thursday 19th June is planned for all those who have applied to join our Sixth Form in September 2025.  

The day is organised in such a way to give you a real taste of what life is like in Sixth Form and as such all applicants are expected to attend.  

The day will include:-

• An Introduction to Prince Henry’s Sixth Form
• An opportunity to spend time exploring our Sixth Form facilities
• Taster lessons in your Option Choices
• Team Building
• Organisation of Tutor Groups
• Distribution of the PHHS Year 12 Information Booklet

After the exam results have been published on Thursday 21st  August 2025 we will be offering consultation sessions to help you finalise your subject choices.  Senior teachers will be available from 9.00 am –2.00 pm.  If you would like to discuss your Post 16 options please come along.
