The Sixth Form Taster Day will give you the chance to sample lessons in your chosen subjects.

As a student at UCC Sixth form you will:

•  have the opportunity to contribute in so many different ways alongside your chosen subjects. Whether it be CrossFit, the concert band or fundraising; Born Survivor, art, Duke of Edinburgh (or many more).

•  have the opportunity to mentor and inspire younger students, building your contribution, skills and experience – ideal for securing those next steps.

•  see and spend time with professional speakers, take part in work experience or secure work placements.

• take part in a variety of trips and visits locally, nationally and internationally.

• push yourself and develop your independence within a strong community of support.

Students are expected to attend both days, where there will be a full and varied programme of 'taster' classes in all subjects for you to sample the subjects you are thinking of studying in September and get a real flavour of Sixth Form life. 

Induction Day 1 (Thursday) commences at 9.15am in the MAIN Hall and students will be free to go at 2.05pm.  A cold buffet lunch will be served.  You are not required to wear uniform!

We will be holding several taster sessions to give you an idea of the subjects that will be available at the College from September.

If the course you're interested in has no more space, please email me so I can put you on a waiting list.

There will be no more taster sessions after these dates. However, we will have our open day on the 6th of July for you and any family that would like to attend. 

To ensure a prompt start to our taster sessions, we kindly request you to arrive 15 minutes early. This will allow us to begin the session on time and make the most of our time together. Please plan your travel accordingly.

The dress code will be smart business attire; no trainers will be worn on the day.
