On Monday, 1st July, at 5:30pm we will welcome you to our Main Hall venue to be given a presentation about your Induction days as well as share the core messages about studying at Sixth Form as a family so that there is the information and support you need to understand what it is like to attend our Sixth Form and complete Level 3 studies.

During our evening information event and in-school sessions you will have the opportunity to meet the Sixth form pastoral team, experience a series of A Level and/or BTEC level lessons and interact with other students.

On Tuesday, 2nd July, you will be able to arrive on the Academy site from 8:30 to our Common Room and then commence introductory academic sessions to your Level 3 studies from 9am-1:30pm each day. You will be able to access Academy buses if required, for arrival to, and departure from the Academy. You will be able to remain in the Key Stage 5 Library if waiting for an Academy bus.

During the in-school induction days you will have access to our Sixth Form Canteen to purchase food or drinks during your break time, but the day will finish at 1:30pm meaning you are able to leave the site and have your lunch after the academic sessions; should you wish to purchase food you will need to bring electronic payment for use.  

You will be treated as a member of the Sixth Form on these days. Timetables have  been constructed based on your application forms, and will be shared during the Parent Presentation on Monday, and then issued to students the first day of Induction.  As part of the Induction experience, you will have the opportunity to discuss any option changes you may wish to make with a member of the Academy team as well as explore alternate curriculum choices during the 2 days. All final subject choices will depend on your GCSE results in August.

This is a visit and presentation for anyone who doesn't attend Ashfield Year 11 and who missed our main Open Evening. 
Please register a ticket for everyone who will be attending (including student/s).

The visit will start with a short presentation from our Head of Post 16, Ms Maguire, followed by a tour.

Please note, there will be no subject staff attending this evening, but our senior team will be available for questions.

This is an exciting opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore what our Sixth Form has to offer. You’ll have the chance to visit our various faculties, meet subject teachers, and learn more about each of our courses.

Tours & Talks

A welcome presentation by Ms. Sheppard, Head of Sixth Form, and Mr. Hildrew, Headteacher, will take place in the hall at 6 pm and will be repeated at 7 pm. Feel free to attend before, after, or during your visit, but we encourage you to plan around one of these time slots to hear about the unique opportunities available to Churchill Sixth Formers.

For those unfamiliar with the campus, tour guides will be available throughout the evening to assist.
