Invite to parents and students to attend the Sixth Form Open Evening

Event for prospective Sixth Form students: Headteacher and Director of Sixth Form Talk and Tour of St Michael's Catholic Grammar School

Student will hear talks from the Headteacher and the Director of Sixth Form before taking a tour of the school.  This event is intended for prospective external students only (who can be accompanied by parents if they wish) to have an opportunity to ask questions to the Headteacher and the Director of Sixth Form and discuss the student experience with current sixth form students.

Students from other schools who have received a conditional offer to join our Sixth Form are invited to visit the school on Friday 28th June..

Students are asked to respond by the 20th June using the form linked in the invitation that they have been emailed.

Please arrive at the Main Reception from 9.05am for a 9.15am start. The session will finish at 12:30 and include the following:

• Welcome by Ms Ganachaud, Director of Sixth Form
• A-Level subject fair
• Tour of the school
• Teambuilding activity with other prospective students from other schools
• Opportunity to talk to current Sixth Form students

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any other family members during this visit. You are not required to bring anything with you. Please follow our Sixth Form dress code on the day which can be found here.

Welcome to the Sixth Form

We very much look forward to welcoming you to our Taster Day on Wednesday 26th June.

The day will follow the timings of the Sixth Form Day and will give you the opportunity to experience courses you are interested in and meet other applicants. Please follow the links in the email sent to you regarding booking onto taster sessions.

You will have on period where you will be ‘free’. This will be an opportunity for you to meet and discuss life in the Sixth Form with current students in the Winter Gardens.

The last session of the day will be a series of ice breakers with other students along with a discussion about next steps in the process to join us in September.
