We are delighted to cordially invite you to our Sixth Form Open Evening that will be happening on 7th November from 4.45pm to 7pm. This year’s event is a very special one, as we continue to celebrate the successful launch of our brand new, stand-alone, post-16 provision in September 2023. 

We cannot wait to introduce you the unique experience we have created for our sixth form students this year. We look forward to showing you our recently refurbished facilities, talking to you about our curriculum offer and giving you a unique insight into sixth form life. Our current sixth former students will be on hand to answer any questions you have and to show you around.

We are pleased to inform you that we are hosting a transition event for all students that will be a full-day event on the 25th of June 2024. This day will provide you with an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the A-level, BTEC, and Cambridge Technical subjects you have chosen.

The transition day will run from 9:10 am to 3:20 pm. All students will be provided with a session for each of their options. For the majority of our students this will be 3 sessions across the day and one ‘non-contact’ period which will make the a day a really valuable insight into what September may look like for the students. The Sixth Form team will be available for the duration of the day which makes the students ‘non-contact’ period an ideal time for any questions or queries they may have.

Please note that the dress code for the transition day will be non-uniform attire, allowing you to feel part of the Sixth Form as you participate in various activities and get to know our vibrant academic community.

This is an information evening that will focus on the Year 12 GCSE and A-Level Option process and students will be able to discuss their preferences with subject teachers.

The presentation will commence at 5:40PM and will cover Life at BOA and the KS5 Curriculum. The presentation will last for 20 mins and there will be an opportunity for a Question & Answer session at the end. The presentation will be repeated at 6:20PM, 7:00 and 7:40PM. 

Anyone planning to attend the presentation at 7:00PM and 7:40PM, please aim to arrive 30 minutes before to discuss with teachers as the event will finish at 8:00PM.

NB: If you intend to attend the online presentation of Thursday 26th June, please select this option via the booking form. You do not need to attend both events.
