Our Open Evening is for those interested in Year 12 entry in September 2025.  The evening will give you the opportunity to meet the Sixth Form team and speak with current students and teachers about Sixth Form life at St Bernard's.  The evening will cover the application process and aims to help you navigate the difficult decision of choosing your A Levels.

We will be holding two sessions.

Session 1 - 5-6:30pm - You will have the opportunity to visit subject stands and speak with students and teachers.  Director of Key Stage 5 presentation in the Main Hall at 6pm.

Session 2 - 6-7:30pm - You will have the opportunity to visit subject stands and speak with students and teachers.  Director of Key Stage 5 presentation in the Main Hall at 7pm.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO PARKING ON SITE SO PLEASE PLAN YOUR JOURNEY.

We will be holding several taster sessions to give you an idea of the subjects that will be available at the College from September.

If the course you're interested in has no more space, please email me so I can put you on a waiting list.

There will be no more taster sessions after these dates. However, we will have our open day on the 6th of July for you and any family that would like to attend. 

To ensure a prompt start to our taster sessions, we kindly request you to arrive 15 minutes early. This will allow us to begin the session on time and make the most of our time together. Please plan your travel accordingly.

The dress code will be smart business attire; no trainers will be worn on the day.

Attending one of our Open Day Events is a great way for you and your family to learn more about our College and the courses we have available for you. 

At our Open Days, you will have the opportunity to:

• Explore our College facilities
• Meet our current students
• Speak to our teachers and staff

Our Open Mornings start at 9am and finish at 10.30am. Tours begin promptly at 9.15am and any visitor/s that do not arrive on time for the tour start at 9.15am, cannot be guaranteed a tour allocation. Our Principal's Welcome follows on from the tour, and ends at 10.30am.

• 10AM: Principal's Welcome
• 10.30AM: END

Please note that this event is restricted to the prospective student and one accompanying parent/guardian.

Arrival time: 6.15pm for information on our Sixth Form and a self guided tour of the school including the teaching areas for the subjects of interest, followed by a presentation in our lecture theatre.
The presentation is for approximately 25 minutes, it is not possible to leave the talk early or be admitted once it begins.

Please note there is no parking available on the school site, the nearest public parking is at Sidcup Leisure Centre and Old Farm Avenue Car Park.

Event for prospective Sixth Form students: Headteacher and Director of Sixth Form Talk and Tour of St Michael's Catholic Grammar School

Student will hear talks from the Headteacher and the Director of Sixth Form before taking a tour of the school.  This event is intended for prospective external students only (who can be accompanied by parents if they wish) to have an opportunity to ask questions to the Headteacher and the Director of Sixth Form and discuss the student experience with current sixth form students.
