Year 12 Open Morning

For Year 11 external applicants and their parents: an opportunity to see Post 16 at the Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy. Please book now for a tour of the Academy, meet with the Post 16 team, a presentation on the curriculum offer and life in Attenborough College. You will also be able to discuss and complete your applications. 

The talk will feature the Headteacher, Head of 6th Form and some 6th Form students. It will take place in the main hall of the main school building, not the 6th Form Centre.

The hall will be open from 4.00pm and you should aim to arrive earlier than the start time or your space may be given to someone else who is waiting.

Following this talk you will be able to tour the main school and 6th Form sites to visit subject areas through to 6.30pm.

There will be an opportunity to meet and chat with key members of our leadership team and ask any questions you may have.  The event is designed to help students with decision making by visiting each Head of Department in their interested subject area.   

Applicants will be invited to spend the day in the Sixth Form getting to know your teachers, fellow class-mates and finding out more about the subjects you will be studying in September 2025.
