The talk will feature the Headteacher, Head of 6th Form and some 6th Form students. It will take place in the main hall of the main school building, not the 6th Form Centre.

The hall will be open from 5pm and you should aim to arrive earlier than the start time or your space may be given to someone else who is waiting.

Before attending this talk you will be able to tour the main school and 6th Form sites to visit subject areas from 4.30pm and can return to this after the talk until 6.30pm.

We are excited to welcome prospective students and their families to our Sixth Form Open Evening. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our diverse range of courses, meet our dedicated staff and hear from current students about life in our Sixth Form.

Hear from senior leaders and staff at UoBS Sixth Form, have a look around our building and facilities, see live demonstrations, meet current students, and talk to our subject teachers about the curriculum, vision, and ethos of the Sixth Form.

Registration is required for those attending so we can further communicate arrangements for the evening.

Visitors can book either a General Admission ticket or a General Admission + Welcome Talk ticket. 

Welcome Talks

There are opportunities to attend a presentation as part of your visit, where you can hear from our Principal and Vice Principal as well as current sixth form students, and alumni about their experiences of studying with us. 

Talks will last approx. 45 minutes and will take place at 17:15 & 18:15

(Visitors attending the 18:15 talk may wish to arrive earlier to allow sufficient time to view the campus prior to the talk, as there may be limited time afterwards). 

There is also a 'general admission' ticket if you do not wish to attend a presentation in addition to your visit, you may arrive anytime between 17:30 - 19:30.

Parking Information: On-site parking is limited, however there are a number of car parks within a short walk of the school (see full details here). Please note, parking charges apply before 18.00. Using the ‘RingGo’ app is the easiest way to pay.

Free on-street parking can also be found in the vicinity (further down Weoley Park Road) however we kindly request that visitors do not park on the access roads for local residents in order to be mindful of our neighboring community.
