OPEN EVENTS FOR PROSPECTIVE SIXTH FORM STUDENTS

These open events are designed for students, parents and children considering applying for a sixth form place for September 2025. Trinity Academy will hold two evenings of events for prospective students and parents and carers to visit the school.

The dates are:

TUESDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2024

WEDNESDAY 6TH NOVEMBER 2024

Visits last around an hour and a half to two hours and will include an address by the Headteacher and an opportunity to tour the sixth form. We advise that you arrive 10 minutes before the start time. These events are likely to be very popular and we expect to receive a large number of visitors. Booking is essential to attend one of these Open Evenings.

Teachers and many of our current students will be available during the open events and will be happy to answer your questions.

Schedule for the events:

5.30pm Arrival & presentation from Headteacher, Eiron Bailey in the Concert Hall

6.00pm Tour of the building for non-Trinity students

Reception in 6th Form Cafe for Trinity students

6.30pm Reception in 6th Form Cafe for students touring

6.00 - 7.00pm Opportunity to meet Head of Department and 6th Form teachers to discuss

subjects and options.

7.00pm Presentation from Headteacher, Eiron Bailey in the Concert Hall (repeat)

7.30pm Event closes.

Deadline for external Year 11 students to submit their Glenthorne Sixth Form Application. 

An evening to celebrate the success of our students. Drinks reception from 6.15pm.

Sixth Form Social Event for Conditional Offer Holders.

Sixth Form Open Evening - Thursday 14th November 2024 - 6pm-8pm.

Year 11 students, both internal and external, are invited to join us at our Sixth Form Open Evening to discover more about life at WKGS Sixth Form.

Whether you're already part of our school community or considering joining us from another school, come and see what makes our Sixth Form a unique and supportive place to continue your education.

The event will begin at 6pm with Headteacher/Head of Sixth Form talks at 6pm and 7pm.
