Assessment

The majority of your units are internally assessed and graded. There are two externally marked assessments, 1 in each year of the course. Year 1 includes: 1. Human Lifespan 2. Working in Health and Social Care Year 2 includes: 3. Anatomy and Physiology 4. Current Enquiries into Research in Health and Social Care An overall grade for the qualification is awarded at the end of the course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations and activities. Work placements in health and care settings are essential to the course and provide valuable links between theory and practice.
