Beauty Therapy

Course summary

Students learn a wide range of basic skills, firstly practising on each other, but quickly moving onto completing treatment on clients. Students have the chance to go on external visits to different shows around the country and have guest speakers in to give practical and theory workshops. There are practical and theory elements to the course and students have to produce a portfolio of evidence. Student attendance must remain above 90% to be successful on the course. It would be helpful for the student to have a kit to practise routines at home and to purchase a textbook to help with homework and assignments. The suggested textbook is The Foundations Beauty Therapy Level 2 7th Edition by Lorraine Nordmann.
