- Four units, each making up different weighted percentages of the qualification. - A sources based investigation on British History worth 25% - An essay-based paper on a non-British area of History worth 15% - An essay-based study over a substantial period, between two and four hundred years, worth 40% - A coursework, which consists of one long essay which is chosen by students and researched with the support of staff
