An offer of a place into Year 12 is conditional upon the candidate achieving a minimum of five good passes at GCSE (including English and mathematics) and a strong performance at GCSE in those subjects they wish to pursue at A Level. In order to study a modern foreign language in the Sixth Form, a pupil must have achieved at least Grade 7 at GCSE and the recommendation of his/her teacher, who must be convinced that he or she will respond positively to the demands of this challenging course.
