Assessment

Assessment at the end of Year 12 is by a 90 minute exam and one nine-and-a half hour internal controlled assessment including a three-and-a-half hour practical exam. Assessment at the end of Year 13 is an eight hour 8 hour open book exam and a controlled assessment consisting of either a food science investigation or a research project on current issues relating to food science and nutrition. After passing Year 12 and 13 you will be awarded the Certificate and Diploma respectively.
