Assessment

There are practical skills assessments during both years of the course, which will lead to the Practical Endorsement. This does not contribute to the A level grade, but sits alongside it and students must demonstrate competence in the skills in order to pass the A level. The A level qualification is assessed in three two-hour theory papers in the final term of the Upper Sixth Form, of equal weighting. Paper 1: Questions on topics 1-6 Paper 2: Questions on topics 1-4 and 7-8 Paper 3: Questions on all topics, 1-8
