Course summary

The Edexcel Salter’s Nuffield A level Biology builds on prior learning and understanding from the GCSE Biology specification. It encompasses a wide and challenging set of concepts and skills, and so is an extremely exciting and engaging subject as a result! A good grounding in maths, an ability to learn new terminology, the ability to interpret and analyse data and evaluate methodology are all needed for success in the subject. In addition to the large breadth and depth of content to be covered, there are also practical skills and answer techniques to hone along the way
