Entry Requirements

At least a grade 6 in GCSE Mathematics and a grade 5 in GCSE English Language. Students do not have to have studied Economics previously in order to study Economics at A Level. They do need, however, to be able to use their Maths and numeracy skills and a calculator, and it is essential that they are able to construct a coherent written argument. Emphasis is placed on encouraging students to develop their ability to recognise, define, analyse and evaluate problems.
