GCSE Results Day 

An opportunity to speak to a member of the 6th form team and finalise your courses.

Start date - Meet in the 6th form Area

No need to book, please arrive on the evening from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Talks will be occurring in the main hall at 6pm and 6:45pm, with the opportunity to hear from and speak to Mr Armsby, our Principal, and Mr McDonnell, our Assistant Principal and Head of Sixth Form.

We are extremely proud of our Sixth Form, which was graded Outstanding by OFSTED in May 2024 and has results in the top 20% of the country for progress. Over 80% of our students obtained a place at their firm choice university in 2024, with 27% being placed at a Russell Group University, both of which are significantly above national averages. This is alongside 100% of students having a known destination, including leading firms such as Amazon, Shell and Virgin Atlantic.

We are looking forward to you attending to support students to make the vital decision about their post-16 pathways. The format of the evening will be as follows: 

Upon arrival via our Sixth Form entrance, receive the location of all subjects for the evening. 

Opportunities to speak with the Sixth Form team, including finding out more about our outstanding destinations and extra-curricular programme.  

A chance to explore our brilliant Sixth Form facilities / school and talk to students about what life is like as a Highams Park Sixth Form student. 

Speak with specialist subject staff who will be positioned around the school.
