We offer a range of extra-curricular activities over-arched by our STEP Award. These include the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), Duke of Edinburgh Award, World Challenge, Student Leadership, High Flyers programme, Student Ambassadors, Reading Buddies, school production and employment in our Cafe, to name a few. The Sixth Form Senior Student Leadership Team is instrumental in organising fundraising initiatives throughout the school year to raise money for nominated charities.
As the Lead School for the Buckinghamshire Careers Hub, The Misbourne is a nationally- recognised leader of careers education. We are backed by an ever- expanding network of professionals, volunteers and former students who regularly visit the school to work alongside students and provide high- quality careers experiences. We believe that employability and work-readiness are just as important as qualifications to enable students to grasp their aspirations with both hands. We train students in interview techniques, building CVs and developing leadership skills, and carefully track and respond to their interests to provide bespoke opportunities.
