We are holding our Open Afternoon on Tuesday 23rd January 2024, 3.30 - 4.30 p.m., and we would like to invite students to join us, especially if they did not visit us on our Open Evening. 

They will be able to speak to our staff and students, hear our curriculum offer and see our Sixth Form in action.

Thank you for your application to London Screen Academy (LSA). We’ve reviewed your application and, while we’re excited by your interest in joining us, we believe your application could benefit from further development before progressing to the next stage.

To help you refine your ideas and strengthen your application, we’re offering an online Zoom drop-in session where you can get guidance, advice, and inspiration.

The session will last around 45 minutes. We will send the Zoom link the day before the event. 

This is a great opportunity to:
 

• Explore creative ideas for your application.
   
• Get clarity on what we’re looking for.
   
• Ask questions.
   

Please note, you have two weeks from the drop in session to resubmit your improved application. We encourage you to attend the session to give yourself the best chance of moving forward in the admissions process. Or if you wish to improve your application on your own please let us know and we will reopen your application where you can edit it.

Please note that this event is restricted to the prospective student and one accompanying parent/guardian.

Arrival time: 5.45pm for information on our Sixth Form and a presentation in our lecture theatre followed by a self guided tour of the school including the teaching areas for the subjects of interest.
The presentation is for approximately 25 minutes, it is not possible to leave the talk early or be admitted once it begins.

Please note there is no parking available on the school site, the nearest public parking is at Sidcup Leisure Centre and Old Farm Avenue Car Park.

We hope your GCSE exams are going well and that you're feeling proud of the hard work and determination you've shown this year.

As we look ahead to September, we’re excited to welcome you to BACA College and begin supporting you in making a confident and successful transition to sixth form.

We would like to invite you to our Pre-Enrolment Transition Morning on Friday 27 June. This is an important part of your journey into Year 12, helping to prepare you for college life before the summer holidays.

Key Information:

• Date: Friday 27 June
• Time: 9:00am – 11:00am (please arrive for registration at 9:00am sharp)
• Location: Meet the college team at Main Reception, where you’ll be guided to the sixth form area. Please note that this event is for applicants only. Due to the capacity of our car park, we ask that parents/carers wait off site, or drop and return after the event concludes.

During the morning, you will:

• Meet key members of the college team
• Learn more about our expectations, support and opportunities
• Begin your transition into college life
• Have your photo taken for your BACA College ID badge (ready for September)
• Have the opportunity to check in with staff about your course choices or raise any questions or worries you might have

Cricketers: Please bring your full kit bag with you. There will be a session with the Cricket Academy team starting at 11:00am, directly after the transition morning.
