Light Hall Sixth Form welcomes all of it's applicants to it's Insight Day on Wednesday 10th July. We aim to present you with a realistic representation of Life as a Light Hall Sixth Form student, including some of the opportunities for the Sixth Forms first ever cohort of students.

You will engage in interactive taster lessons to give you an insight into what you can expect to do and achieve by studying at Light Hall. There will be problem solving activities and chances for you to get to know your future peers throughout the day! You will receive resources on sample topics from our study skills, tutorial and enrichment programme that we are confident will equip you with all the skills and knowledge you will need to become well-rounded individuals, with the confidence to leave Sixth Form in pursuit of a successful career and life. You will meet some of our dedicated tutors and subject teachers who will support you to reach your full potential in your chosen A-Level subjects.

Fancy yourself a leader? Or an innovator? Or maybe you just love learning something new? Our programme of enrichment and extra-curricular activities offers something for every student. You will learn about our programme of activities beyond the curriculum including our student leadership opportunities.

Additionally, entry to Light Hall this upcoming year comes with a unique opportunity to inspire and build your own experiences as we endeavour to expand our programme to support the needs of young people. As an educational institute in its infancy, we welcome suggestion and empower students to take their education into there own hands. Therefore, we look forward to collaborating with our students to bring them the extra-curricular activities they will benefit from the most.

An introduction into sixth form: presentations, taster lessons, meet and greets with the sixth form teaching team. Supportive summer studies and pre-reading for your subjects you are wanting to take in September.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening for September 2025 entry will take place on Thursday 28th November 2024. We're so excited to show you what our Sixth Form has to offer.

Our enthusiastic subject teachers and current Year 12 students will present their A-Level subjects, giving you insight into what it looks like to study here. You will get to see our facilities including the new Sixth Form area!

There will be talks throughout the evening about our enrichment and extra-curricular programmes and you will hear from Mr Brookes and our Head Girl and Head Boy about why our Sixth Form could be for you!
